Four Steps To Transfer


Once it has been decided whether to transfer, the process is
straight forward so long as you know what to ask for and how
to complete the paperwork!

 

Step One
 

Give us authority to arrange your transfer(s), we request your UK pension transfer values and paperwork to transfer.

Please print, complete and send us the following.

  • Letter of Authority (View Online) - Print and complete for each UK pension provider.
  • Personal Details Form (View online)

Step 2
 

Once we receive the paperwork from the UK we will contact you:

  • Your UK HMRC approved New Zealand Superanuation Scheme is set up to receive your transfer.
  • Your UK pension scheme paperwork is completed
Step 3
 

We courier all completed paperwork to your UK scheme and chase them for payment.

  • All monies sent by your UK pension providers are sent direct to your New Zealand Superanuation Scheme. No adviser is allowed to handle client money, this is for you protection.
  • The timeframe for completion of a UK pension transfer from the initial request for the transfer value and paperwork to the transfer proceeds arriving at your New Zealand Scheme, can range from around 2 months up to 9 months. This depends on each individual UK scheme as some are much slower than others and do not speed up even when chased!
Step 4
 

Payment is received by your New Zealand QROPS in GBP and is kept in Sterling until you are happy
with the exchange rate. We work with you to provide recommended investments going forward.
